Overwhelming Loyalty

Just want to share with you about our driver (Mang Eddie) and security guard (Nonet). Both of whom waded the floods of Ondoy just to report for work.

Mang Eddie lives in Antipolo and did not have a way of communicating with us that he could not report for work. Because of this, he woke up at 4:30 and swam the flooded parts of Marikina and walked the rest of the way to our house.

Our security guard, Nonet walked all the way from Pasig to our house in Quezon City.

Had I learned of this ahead of time, I would have told them not to have risked their lives.

I do want to thank the Lord for the loyalty these two men have given to our family. I am humbled.
